For women who work in situations where arc or flame flash may occur, FR underwear is highly recommended for protection. Standard underwear is made from fabrics that have a very low melting point. If a bra melts, you don't want to be wearing it.

All Safe + Sound Nomex Bras are made with soft texturized 8 oz. Nomex IIIA, APTV 15, NFPA 70E Hazard Classification 2. This fabric provides both comfort and protection. Bras are available in Natural colour.

In order to meet the FR classification bra straps are not adjustable.

BRA SIZING INSTRUCTIONS
For Nomex and 100% Cotton Bras

Below are the instructions for measuring standard Non FR bras. Although the FR and Cotton bras are made of a special stretch and non-stretch fabric, we will use the same measurement standards as for regular bras.

Two components make up your bra size:
• Band Size (i.e. 32, 34 36
• Cup Size : (i.e. A, B, C)

Step #1:
To find your band size, wrap a measuring tape tightly around your rib cage. Then add 5 inches to this measurement, i.e. 27" rib cage + 5" - 32" band size.

Step #1:
To find your cup size, measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract your band size from this measurement.
A difference of 0" = AA cup, 1" = A cup, 2" = B cup, 3“ = C cup, and so on.
